RACING BACKGROUND
 I started racing Go-karts at the end of 1998, at a track
called Dirt Devils Speedway, located in Land O' Lakes,
Florida. (A WKA track run by Sam Rodriguez, 3 time TBARA
Sprintcar champ) I started racing when I was about
eight, in the novice class. I raced on and off, whenever
I could for a couple of years. Then in 2002, we really
started getting serious, with a 5th place finish out of
23 contenders in the championship. In 2003 I began
running road races at Sunshine Action Speedway,
basically to get more experience in the seat. In my
first road race, -in the 100CC Yamaha can class- I
started 11th and finished 5th out of 17. They are
building a new road course on the East Bay Raceway
grounds, so we will continue turning right when
possible. In the middle of 03', my Dad and I started
building a Champ Kart. In 2004, we headed back to Dirt
Devils missing the first race of the season - and won
the championship out of several serious contenders.
Currently, I am in the process of defending that
Championship. We went to Daytona in December of 2005 for
my first World Dirt Nationals – qualifying 9th out of
about 60+ karts. We actually had a good run going in
7th…when a pothole took off my chain.
My Dad and I are building a USAC Ford Focus Midget. We
anticipate running a few races at the end of the 06
season. In the meantime, Dad has lined up a couple of
talented drivers, with USAC experience – to drive a
couple races. This should help us get the car sorted out
pretty good. In 2007, I am going to shoot for the Rookie
of The Year award. The end goal would be a Focus Midget
series championship – with the ultimate goal of being a
top contender in the Silver Crown Series. So, whenever
and wherever there is a run that I can run, I'll be
there. I am a very determined racer. I am always
thinking of how I will make my next lap faster. I am
very competitive, on and off the track. Winning is
everything.
