Our organization is dedicated to primarily participating
in the USAC Ford Focus Series in Florida, as well as
many other states throughout the US. This is a
professional racing series that attracts attention on a
national level
Who is USAC?
USAC, otherwise known as The United States Auto Club -
is a sanctioning body that regulates and sanctions
various forms of professional auto racing. Many may
recall the Le Mans tragedy of 1955 which resulted in
Mercedes Benz withdrawing from all forms of motorsports
for several years. This same event also resulted in the
American Automobile Association (AAA) withdrawing
from all motorsports associations leaving a void that
needed to be filled. To address this need, USAC was
created. USAC is probably most noted for sanctioning
the Indy 500 from 1956 to 1996. Over the years, USAC
has produced some of the world’s greatest racing talent.

What is the USAC Ford Focus Series?
The USAC Ford Focus series is the result of Ford
Racing's involvement with USAC to create a
highly competitive series with the intent of grooming
young, professional talent from all walks of life. The
engine is from the Ford Focus road car, with very
limited modification allowed. The engines are sealed
from the manufacture and produce roughly 172 to 180
horsepower. Costing roughly $8000.00, the engines are a
mere fraction of the cost of a full National USAC Midget
Series engine. The chassis can be sourced from
various companies throughout the United States. Being
that the engines are limited and sealed, there is a huge
emphasis on chassis tuning and driver skill in this
series. Since this series was incepted, it has
attracted a huge fan base that continues to grow
exponentially. USAC has just announced a National
Championship Invitational in which a select few drivers
from each region are offered the opportunity to race for
a national title.
What is the USAC Sunshine State
Ford Focus Series?
The Sunshine State Ford Focus Series is the newest
region being developed. The series will race at
various locations throughout the state of Florida. With
all the interest and activity that has surrounded the
announcement of the Florida region, it will soon become
one of the most, if not the most visible and competitive
series in the Southeast.
